To help meet our financial goals, the Central Community Dollars for Scholars chapter is again seeking donations. Our goals this year are to:

  • Provide at least $500 to each graduate continuing his or her education.
  • Increase the Central Community Dollars for Scholars endowment by $5,000.

You can help us reach these goals in two ways. Either type of gift will benefit Central graduates.

First, you can make a contribution directly to Central Dollars for Scholars. This gift will benefit each year's seniors. It also provides a charitable tax deduction.

Second, a contribution can be made to the Central Dollars for Scholars Endowment. This gift not only ensures that present Central students benefit from your generosity, but it also lays the foundation for scholarships for future Central graduates. As an added incentive to contribute to this endowment, the State of Iowa offers Endow Iowa tax credits equal to 25% of your gift. This means a quarter of your gift to the endowment is free since you will receive credit for that amount on your Iowa income taxes!

Please fill out the bottom portion of this letter and return it with your contribution. Any amount is greatly appreciated. All contributors are recognized on the program for the high school awards night and here our website . Online donations by credit card are also available on our website. However, contributions to the endowment must be by check.

Thank you very much for your continued support of Central Community Dollars for Scholars.
